TDT: Mignogna returns to take over from Becce
Change at the top: Assiterminal’s chairman stands down for personal reasons. Eurogate Tanger chairman Mignogna returns.
December 2017
Gruppo Investimenti Portuali (GIP), controlled by Infracapital and Infravia, is stepping up its commitment to Terminal Darsena Toscana in Livorno. TDT’s current CEO – and chairman of Assiterminal – Luca Becce has decided for strictly personal reasons to stand down from his post but will continue to work in GIP’s senior management team and lead the development of the Darsena Europa project.
“Luca was with us at SECH from 2006 to 2013, when he became CEO at TDT,” commented Giulio Schenone, “and is an integral part of our “family”. I understand the reasons that led him to this decision but I’m glad he’s continuing to be in our team. I’m also happy about the “return” of Marco Mignogna, who will certainly make a significant contribution with his experience and to whom I wish the best of luck”.
The post of general manager is therefore being taken up by Marco Mignogna, who will report directly to Group CEO Giulio Schenone.
Marco Mignogna, 53, started his career in 1992 as a project manager at Voltri Terminal Europa (VTE). In 1995 he joined Gruppo Contship Italia and held positions of responsibility in La Spezia, Gioia Tauro and Livorno. He has been chairman of Eurogate Tanger in Morocco since 2009, with responsibility for terminal management and business development.
